Due to COVID-19, the UKSW authorities consultate on the procedure for accepting nominations and opening recruitment for the academic year 2020-2021. Please expect the future notice as soon the details in this matter will be known. Thank you very much for your cooperation.


Candidates for short-term studies (wishing to study at the UKSW for up to one academic year within I, II & III cycle of studies at other HEI, for example Erasmus) are invited to start application process.


  1. Fill out the online application form in IRK system, access for winter semester and full academic year between April 26th and May 31st, 2019 (closed) and for summer semester between November 5th and December 20th, 2019. Make sure to choose an appropriate status at UKSW and academic year 2019/2020.
  2. Choose what you want to study (step 4) select: Domain, Unit/Faculty (choose only one - your main Faculty at UKSW) and Courses in IRK system.
  3. Print out the online application form (step 5). Give this aplication form to your Coordinator at Home university to fill out and sign (at the last page).
  4. After your application is signed by Coordinator at your Home university, scan it (all pages) and upload to the IRK system (step 6).
  5. Upload also the following documents: language certificate*, your passport or national ID - depending on which document you can cross the Polish border with, Transcript of Records or last achieved diploma (in English).
  6. Submit your application (step 7)!
  7. After you have submitted your application, you can close the page and just wait until it is verified by Departamental Coordinator at UKSW.
  8. The official Letter of Acceptance will be send by International Relations Office UKSW after succeeding verification.

*Language certificate is the document that is issued by a school or department which is entitled to issue such type of certificates. For example, language school or language department at university. The language level should be indicated according to Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (levels from B1 to C2).


Short-term studies nomination deadlines for the 2019/2020 academic year:

For the first semester and/or full academic year – deadline April 30th, 2019

For the second semester – December 15th, 2019


Short-term studies application deadlines for the 2019/2020 academic year:

For the first semester and/or full academic year – deadline May 31th, 2019

For the second semester – December 20th, 2019


Before applying, make sure that you were nominated by your Home university to Cardinal Stefan Wyszyński University in Warsaw. Applications without prior nominations will not be valid. Erasmus code: PL WARSZAW07.

Late applications may be subject to rejection.
