“Project ECO-ACT: East African-European Virtual Exchange for Environmental Conservation and Climate Action”
From July 8th to 10th, Cardinal Stefan Wyszynski University in Warsaw hosted a workshop as part of the ECO-ACT project, focused on exchanging experiences and developing joint actions for environmental protection and climate change mitigation.
Representatives from six partner universities from Europe and Africa participated in the event:
🇵🇱 Uniwersytet Kardynała Stefana Wyszyńskiego (Poland), 🇧🇬 University of National and World Economy (Bulgaria), 🇰🇪 Kibabii University (Kenya), 🇷🇼 University of Rwanda, 🇸🇸 University of Bahr El Ghazal (South Sudan), 🇺🇬 Lira University (Uganda)
The programme included, among others:
🔹 Expert presentations on climate change in Poland, sustainable development, and the role of religion in environmental protection
🔹 Work on the virtual educational exchange programme
🔹 Workshops and discussions with representatives from all partner universities
