From May 5 to 9, 2025, PhD Katarzyna Zeman-Wiśniewska, a lecturer at the Institute of Archaeology at Cardinal Stefan Wyszynski University (UKSW), visited the University of Zadar (Croatia) as part of the Erasmus+ KA131 Staff Mobility for Teaching program.
During her stay, PhD Zeman-Wiśniewska conducted a series of lectures in English on the results of her current research in Cypriot archaeology. The presentations were met with great interest from both students and faculty members, and the accompanying discussions provided an opportunity for exchanging views and experiences in an international academic environment.
Participation in the program not only allowed for the presentation of UKSW’s academic achievements abroad, but also provided a chance to confront research analyses with a different methodological and educational perspective. Cooperation with Croatian students and lecturers contributed to a deeper understanding of local socio-cultural contexts and enriched PhD Zeman-Wiśniewska’s teaching practice.
The visit also served as an opportunity to improve language and intercultural competencies and establish new academic connections. The outcomes of this collaboration will undoubtedly contribute to the further development of the teaching offerings at the Institute of Archaeology at UKSW and promote our university as an institution open to international knowledge exchange.
