Rozpoczynamy rekrutację na krótkoterminowe praktyki mieszane Erasmus+ dla doktorantów Szkoły We are excited to announce the launch of the first edition of Erasmus+ short-term blended traineeships for PhD candidates of the Doctoral School at the Cardinal Stefan Wyszynski University in Warsaw!
What are short-term blended traineeships?
They are a unique form of mobility that combines physical mobility – an in-person traineeship at a host institution abroad, and virtual mobility – online activities such as training sessions, expert consultations, research tasks, or teaching components.
This approach allows you to gain experience both on-site and remotely, without having to stay abroad for the entire duration of the traineeship. The virtual component is optional, and participation in the physical part helps you develop academic and professional competences in an international environment.
Who can participate?
The programme is open to PhD candidates of the UKSW Doctoral School who:
Have received a positive recommendation from their supervisor or the head of their doctoral track,
Maintain their PhD candidate status throughout the traineeship period.
Recruitment runs from 1 October 2025 to 30 June 2026.
How to apply?
PhD candidates are responsible for contacting a chosen host institution and negotiating the terms of the traineeship. Afterwards, they must submit the required application documents to the International Relations Department for verification.
Once the documents have been positively reviewed, the remaining required documents for the financial agreement must be submitted at least 60 days before the planned departure date.
Why should you participate?
Short-term blended traineeships offer an excellent opportunity to gain professional and research experience in an international environment, develop competences related to your research discipline, improve your foreign language skills, establish valuable scientific and professional contacts.
Participation also allows you to earn ECTS credits, and every participant receives an Erasmus+ grant, with the possibility of additional support for participants with fewer opportunities.
This is a unique chance to combine academic learning with practical experience in an innovative format – available for the first time in UKSW’s history.
