Between 15 and 19 December 2025, the Faculty of Biology and Environmental Sciences of Cardinal Stefan Wyszynski University in Warsaw hosted Prof. Marine Arakelyan from Yerevan State University (Armenia). The visit took place within the framework of the Erasmus+ KA171 programme.
During visit, Prof. Arakelyan conducted a series of lectures for biology students, which were also open to the entire academic community of UKSW. The lectures focused on evolutionary biology, the biodiversity of the Caucasus region, and the impact of climate change on the natural environment.

Amazing Reptiles of the Caucasus and the Impact of Climate Change on Biodiversity and Its Consequences
The lectures attracted considerable interest among students, who actively participated in the sessions, asked questions, and engaged in discussions. The meetings provided an opportunity to broaden knowledge of the unique biodiversity of the Caucasus and current challenges related to environmental protection and climate change.
The visit of Prof. Marine Arakelyan contributed to strengthening international cooperation, the exchange of academic experience, and the internationalisation of the educational process at the Faculty of Biology and Environmental Sciences of UKSW.
