Welcome Meeting for Erasmus+ Exchange Students

On 20 February 2026, we organised a Welcome Meeting for incoming international students starting their studies in the summer semester under the Erasmus+ programme at UKSW.
The purpose of the meeting was to present the rules of studying within the Erasmus+ programme, including organisational, academic, and administrative aspects. Participants were also provided with information about Poland, Warsaw, and Cardinal Stefan Wyszynski University in Warsaw—its history, structure, and locations. Additionally, the scope of activities of the Welcome Centre, as a unit supporting international students, was introduced.
The programme of the event included a guided tour of the Wóycickiego Campus, including a visit to the Welcome Centre. Students were familiarised with the university’s infrastructure as well as facilities offering support during their stay in Poland and at the University.
In the second part of the event, representatives of the Erasmus Student Network UKSW presented their activities, highlighting opportunities for engagement in academic life and integration initiatives.
The meeting concluded with a Q&A session, during which participants were able to obtain detailed information regarding the organisation of their studies and their stay at the University.
The Welcome Meeting marked the formal beginning of the semester for Erasmus+ students and constituted an important element of UKSW’s efforts towards the internationalisation of education and the development of an international academic community.
