On 16–17 April 2026, a Transnational Partner Meeting took place as part of the Erasmus+ project CloudHed: Disaster Resilience in Higher Education Systems via a Cloud University Model, with the participation of representatives of Cardinal Stefan Wyszynski University in Warsaw.
The meeting was coordinated by WPZ Research GmbH and focused on the implementation of task A4.1, which aims to integrate transversal and resilience skills into analysed higher education curricula. Project partners, including Tel-Hai College, Riga Technical University, and Sumy State University, actively contributed to the discussions.
The primary objective of the meeting was to review and refine approaches to integrating resilience-related competencies into study programmes. Participants explored how transversal and resilience skills can be more effectively embedded in existing curricula, addressing current challenges faced by higher education systems.
An important part of the programme was dedicated to the presentation of survey results, followed by discussions identifying key findings and priority areas for further development. These exchanges supported the alignment of project partners on the next steps of implementation.
A significant portion of the meeting was also devoted to Work Package 4 (WP4), focusing on the development of training programmes. Participants reviewed existing training offers, identified gaps and training needs, and discussed potential formats for future educational activities. As a result, a preliminary concept for upcoming training programmes was developed and will be further elaborated in the next phases of the project.
On 17 April 2026, a dissemination event was held as part of the International Conference “Theology of Relationship and Gift – A Direction Towards the Society of the Future”, hosted by Cardinal Stefan Wyszynski University in Warsaw and Faculty of Theology.
During the conference, Dr Verena Regent from WPZ Research GmbH delivered a presentation entitled “Disaster Resilience in Higher Education Systems via a Cloud University Model – results from an Erasmus+-funded project”, presenting the project’s outcomes and highlighting its contribution to strengthening resilience in higher education systems.
