It is our pleasure to invite you to the international conference “Education for Peace. Between Tradition, Postmodernity and New Challenges”, which will be held on 28 – 29 November 2023 at the Institute of Pedagogy of Cardinal Stefan Wyszyński University in Warsaw (Schuman Auditorium).
The aim of the conference is to bring together leading scholars, educators, and practitioners from all over the world to explore and discuss critical issues related to peace education. In particular, we aim to reflect on the value of peace at the socio-educational level and to reconstruct a philosophy of education directed toward discovering the value of peace. This involves critical and analytical thinking that reinterprets the various currents of social understanding of human beings and their potential for presence in the world. Additionally, we aim to promote Polish science in the international arena.
