On November 20 and 28, 2024, as part of the NAWA Direction@UKSW! Project! – Enhancing the internationalization of UKSW through comprehensive support for international students and academic staff – intercultural workshops were held for academic staff working with international students.
The first workshop, held on November 20, was tailored for academic lecturers, while the second, on November 28, was designed for administrative staff. Both sessions were led by UKSW experts in intercultural psychology, Prof. dr hab. Magdalena Żemojtel-Piotrowska and dr hab. Jarosław Piotrowski, Associate Professor.
The workshops covered essential topics such as the impact of culture on self-perception and communication, the process of acculturation, the diagnosis of cultural differences, and practical aspects of working with international students.
