On February 21, 2025 we organized Welcome Meeting for international students arriving under the Erasmus+ program.
The event began with a welcome speech by the Director of the International Relations Office, who welcomed all participants, introduced the team, and presented the meeting agenda. Following this, students took part in a campus tour at Wóycickiego 1/3, where they had the opportunity to explore the university’s facilities, locate the UKSW Welcome Centre, and familiarize themselves with key faculty offices.
The next session was led by Ms. Oliwia Stopka, International Students Junior Specialist, who provided essential information about studying at UKSW within the Erasmus+ program. Students learned about key documents and procedures related to their academic journey at our university.
Following this, Ms. Danuta Kosińska, Welcome Centre Coordinator, introduced participants to important details about Poland, Warsaw, and UKSW. She also outlined the support services offered by the Welcome Centre, including assistance with finding accommodation, legalizing their stay, adapting to life in Poland and at the university, as well as guidance on organizing their academic experience.
At the end of the meeting, Ms. Magdalena Pernal, President of the Erasmus Student Network UKSW, presented the activities of ESN UKSW and introduced upcoming events dedicated for international students.
We are delighted to welcome 41 students from 10 countries for the summer semester at Cardinal Stefan Wyszyński University in Warsaw. We wish you all a successful and enriching experience at UKSW!
