In the last week of October, the Institute of Political and Administrative Sciences of Cardinal Stefan Wyszyński University in Warsaw hosted Prof. Daniel Krošlák from the Faculty of Law of the Pan-European University (PEU) in Bratislava. Prof. Krošlák specializes in the theory of state and law, constitutional law and the protection of human rights. He also serves as an adviser at the Chancellery of the government of the Slovak Republic.
During his stay at UKSW, Professor Krošlák met with the Dean of the Faculty of Social and Economic Sciences, Prof. Michał Gierycz and the Erasmus+ departmental coordinator at the Institute of Political and Administrative Science, Piotr Sieniawski, PhD. At the meeting they discussed the possibilities of cooperation between UKSW and PEU, which is one of the oldest private universities in Slovakia During his mobility delivered several lectures for students of the Faculty of Social and Economic Sciences. He taught about freedom of religion in the case law of the European Court of Human Rights. During the lectures, the Professor also raised the issue of the admissibility of religious symbols in public places. The professor also held a meeting at the International Cooperation Department, where the issue of the exchange of students and staff between our universities was discussed.
